One of the main excuses I hear for not night riding during the off season is the lack of a light. The truth is…they are expensive for a quality one that will get you through the ride without running into trees in the process. Riding lights make the perfect gift this time of year because they can go out and use it right away! Since there are a lot of options out there…try to stick to something in at least the mid-priced range (200-300 US) in HID or LED. All of them are good enough for normal use.
