Urban commuter bikes have come a long way over the past couple of years. With this new Finesse from Breezer Bikes, Breezer takes a look at high end bike commuting that is as functional as it is visually appealing. With a carbon fork, hydraulic disc brakes and Ritchey carbon seat post, this urban bicycle does not disappoint in your pursuit to get from point A to point B.

From Breezer Bikes:
You’re all for smart design with a minimalist ethic. You see simplicity as a philosophy for life. Your ultimate urban get-around vehicle is human- powered so it requires no gas, it has a carbon fork and seat post for supreme comfort and it keeps all its shiftiness to itself with an internal geared hub. Throw your briefcase on the rear rack and take to the streets or the trails (by day or by night, thanks to the front and rear lights). That’s what a good hybrid is for. Your ride is the Finesse. (Also available in Pearl White.)
Available in sizes 48cm, 52cm, 56cm, 60cm in Black/Blue and Pearl/White.
Main Frame: Breezer D’Fusion custom butted alloy, integrated head tube, top tube/seat tube hydroforming, down tube hydroforming, dual water bottle mounts
“My lifelong quest is to distill the bicycle — the most efficient form of transport ever devised— to its purest form. When you achieve the essence, you bring forth the most endearing traits of a bicycle, the qualities that let us fly down the road with the greatest of ease, and give us the biggest smiles.” ~ Joe Breeze
This is a nice commuter bike. With carbon components, Alfine internal gearing component group and other high end components, this commuter is about as good as it gets outside of going the custom route. Breezer finishes the entire package off with a great looking blue paint that has just a little bit of flake to hit the sun as you are heading down the street. All of these higher in components do come at a higher price tag which means you are probably not leaving this commuter bike next to just any light post. Be ready to carry a pretty good lock with you to secure this urban bicycle to something sturdy.
We are going to be strapping down gear and putting this high end commuter bike from Breezer Bikes through the review process over the next couple of months…so stay tuned to see what we thinking about the Breezer Finesse.
