In an article by Bicycle Retailer and Industry News, Dave Weagle announced that he is not going to renew the licensing agreement with Iron Horse Bikes after it expires on March 31, 2009. Iron Horse has been using the patented DW Link, invented by Weagle, on many of their models for several years running.

The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and Museum (MBHOF) is located in downtown Crested Butte at 331 Elk Avenue within the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum. The new linkage design features 15mm diameter alloy axles bolting directly into the frame that are locked in place with ultra-trick collet heads. These control preload on the angular contact bearings in the lower link, which are in turn easily lubed up via the grease ports in the link.
