The Mountain Biking by 198 Flickr group has been created. This is going to be an area where you guys (and me) can upload your riding pictures, bikes, etc. They will show up in the groups page on Flickr, but also on the sidebar of MTB by 198.
I read other bike blogs as much as I write on my own. After our regular Tuesday spin this week, we starting talking about blogs over a huge dish of “2 for Tuesday” wings. For me…sharing our life and biking experiences is just as great as the ride itself and with blogging, we are able to share these experiences to a much wider audience than just our dinner tables and trail heads.
Okay, I thought I could avoid this whole “tag” thing. You see, Ron hit me with the dreaded “six things about yourself” tag a couple weeks ago. At the time, I was too busy to respond so I used the convenient excuse that I had been tagged before and that the same six things still applied.
I am incredibly excited about how well the blog is doing. In a very short time, it has been able to achieve heights that surpassed my goals, and that is all thanks to you guys. Thank you for taking the time to stop by, subscribe to the feed and comment on posts. This blog would be nothing without it’s readers.
Be on the lookout for my Pro Reviews on MTBR. I have been talking with MTBR over the course of this week and we are both really excited about adding my reviews to their site. The first review posted is the Maxxis Ardent 29er post that some of you may have already seen. From now on, I will be posting product reviews to the MTBR site at the same time as MTB by 198.

As the blog continues to grow, navigation across the posts and the site becomes increasingly harder. In an attempt to make this easier for you guys, I have created some new categories and created a listing that you will now find at the bottom of the page.
