Last week…I threw up a teaser shot of a new tread design out of one…
For Interbike 2008, Cane Creek released some new models for their line of 110 headsets. The Zero Stack and XX (1.5 heatube) round out their line of 110’s. This is great news for 1.5″ headtube owners as the options for your application continue to grow.
I have been involved in the product development end of a new tread design out of one of the major tire manufacturers for several months now. After several sets…I can say that these are probably the best cross country tires that I have ever ridden.
When I returned from Maui this week, I received my samples from Julbo USA. Julbo manufactures high end sports glasses and goggles for numersous uses from water sports to mountain excursions. These two new pair, the Run and Dirt (not on website yet), are stylish adventure sport models that feature their Zebra lens technology.
Pivot Cycles, one of the first to use the world renowned DW-Link suspension design, is really stepping up to the plate for 2009. Check out their Interbike booth for a first hand look at these new rides. Pivot is ready for a full out fight in 2009.
Over the last six months, I’ve grown bored and annoyed at my modern full suspension mountain bike. The incessant chain slap. The complicated and vulnerable rear derailleur. The bobbing suspension. The lazy lines I was being allowed to pick. It no longer brought me joy.
Ok…I had seen these wheels posted around the net on several blogs and press releases. They are the new Tag TR3 composite wheels. Curiosity got the best of me and I emailed the guys over at Tag for more information. They sent me their new press release with their booth number. Here is what I gather from the press release descriptions.
Yesterday, I had a great conversation with the man himself…Dave Turner. As many of you already know, it is a very exciting time for the guys over at Turner Bikes. They completely redesigned their entire line for 2009 to the DW-Link suspension.
Earlier this year, Fox and Shimano shocked the industry with the introduction of the 15mm QR TA on the Fox Talas 140 RLC. Much of the debate and most of the articles have been written about this controversial subject which begs the question.
Take a look at these two new hardtails out of the Ibis camp. That’s right…you are reading it correctly…titanium! Of course, there also has to be a new carbon in the lineup.
