The JET 9 is our swift, light, race ready full suspension bike. Designed around the same award winning CVA™ suspension system found on the R.I.P. 9, the Jet 9 features 80mm of plush, fully active travel at nearly a pound lighter frame weight from it’s bigger brother. Speed was the main concept for the JET 9, and the geometry is focused on a balance between stability and maneuverability.
Rocky Mountain Bicycles sent us in a new Slayer SXC 70 for review. This all black Easton aluminum with carbon seat stays mountain bike delivers 153mm of rear travel via a Rocky Mountain LC2R suspension design. Designed to conquer the entire mountain, this 33 lbs. Canadian built monster is ready to take anything that you can throw at it…and I am going to try to do just that.
The 2009 Intense Uzzi now carries the sames design ques as the new 2009 Intense Tracer with curved lines and adjustable suspension travel settings, but that is not all that is new with this redesigned bike out of Intense Cycles.

Some…if not all…of you may have seen this bike. The Delta 7 Arantix is hailed as one of the most expensive hardtails on the market. With an MSRP of 4,895 for frame only (recently reduced from $7,000!) this “Isotruss” frame is the most expensive cheese grater money can buy.

Over the last six months, I’ve grown bored and annoyed at my modern full suspension mountain bike. The incessant chain slap. The complicated and vulnerable rear derailleur. The bobbing suspension. The lazy lines I was being allowed to pick. It no longer brought me joy.
Yesterday, I had a great conversation with the man himself…Dave Turner. As many of you already know, it is a very exciting time for the guys over at Turner Bikes. They completely redesigned their entire line for 2009 to the DW-Link suspension.
Take a look at these two new hardtails out of the Ibis camp. That’s right…you are reading it correctly…titanium! Of course, there also has to be a new carbon in the lineup.
