On my ride to work today, a thought occurred to me…”There is no other group of people like the cycling community.” This very tight knit group has very diverse backgrounds, views, opinions and ages but in the end…they all get along great together with their common passion…biking. The Perfect Morning Mountain Bike Rides

It was Saturday morning. I headed down to Blankets Creek to get in an early morning ride to beat the heat. Just like I expected, I was one of 3 cars in the parking lot this early. Usually, this parking lot is filled with over 40 cars on a weekend. The morning fog hadn’t even lifted off the lake yet and I started to get ready for my ride.

Fluid – Recovery Drink

Last week, Fluid sent me a tub of their new Tropical Escape flavored recovery drink to test out. This will be my first experience with any recovery drink, so I am excited to see some results. Per the instructions, I am supposed to mix 2 cups of Fluid in with 8 oz of water and drink it no within 30 minutes after my ride.

On our recent ride at Raccoon Mountain, Jason had his brand new iPhone along for the trip. During the ride, he was able to take pictures, upload them to flickr.com and post them on his Twitter account with ease. Now, I thought I was ahead of the curve with the Blackberry Curve and all of its capabilities, but the new iPhone looks like it has a lot of benefits for internet junkies of all disciplines.
