DH Racing Down a Glacier with Hundreds of Other Riders (yes…you read that right)

I have seen some pretty crazy things before in mountain biking, but this is a new one. This even called the Megavalanche in the Alpe d’Huez in France is pretty crazy. The start of the race is on a glacier and then you have to navigate down the mountain in snow, ice and other conditions that just aren’t made for mountain bikes. The views are pretty amazing though…

A 15 minute Short documentary style report of the annual Megavalanche in Alpe d’Huez, France.

I-mtb Experienced the Mega Avalanche, rode the tracks, tried the start on the glacier, and witnessed the professional race. A unique extreme experience, should everyone try it?
