Today provided me with a unique look on the true greatness that is the cycling community. We have many different backgrounds, come from all age groups, have different riding abilities and have different riding styles, but when it all comes down to it…we stick together.

For many riders that are new to the sport or just new to a different area…you are going to try to find a way to get involved and meet other riders. Local events and races are the perfect way to get involved and meet people in the community.

This month brings a contest between two top-notch websites in these sports to answer this question. Mountain Biking 198 and MaxRigging are having a competition. The contest is simple. Which site, the biker’s or the rower’s, can get more subscribers to their RSS feeds by the end of the month.
