I bought a mt. bike and have been riding it on dirt roads for about 7 years. Then I realized our local state park had double and single track…aahh! I tried this and have the scars to prove it…there must be an easier way…, so I searched on line and found Ramped Riding late last night…looks good, bought it, and this a.m. went for 2.5 hr. ride with a friend using some of your hints from Ramped Riding. It was the best ride of my life! We rode on slippery, leaf covered trails with roots and rocks covered by fallen foliage; through deep, mucky, puddles; and up and over stone outcroppings as well as slippery fallen tree branches. What a hoot! It was the best ride of my life! -Caroline
