In Atlanta, they recently passed a law that you are now allowed to buy beer in growlers. It is a pretty cool setup actually as it brings in more local business and craft brews. It’s great for every beer lover and a nice addition to the area for local brewers.
Apparently, J.Ruiter believes the bike is the perfect transportation device for these beer growlers as he has designed a commuter bike with this specific purpose. Based off of 29er wheels with a custom frame design and Monarch Springer front end, the Growler City Bike promises to get you from point a (probably your house/apartment) to point b (your favorite growler/brewer) and back to point a again with ease.
This “Growler” concept concept city commuter is a working sketch prototype in a series of thoughts on what we carry around with us and the importance of those items. We took a Growler from a local pub and set off
to design a bike around it. With or without the beer, this changed how we view typical beach/ city “cruisers.”
