With so many different options for mountain, road, commuter or other specialty forms of bikes out there, cyclists now have the luxury of owning 2 wheeled machines that can be different horses for different courses. Remember when there only used to be one option? A bike! Now…with technology constantly evolving…I have more than “just a bike” in my garage.
Even recreational mountain bikers are starting to evolve their stables into road bikes and singlespeeds as they continue to expand their obsession into other forms of pedal induced forward motion. Out of pure curiosity…I want to know how many bikes you are currently holding in your stable. I founded Bike198 back in 2007 and started riding bikes seriously in 1994. A lot has changed since that time and one of the greatest releases is still getting out on the bike and shredding trail or tearing up the road.
