I was searching through Vimeo the other day looking for videos that sparked my attention. This particular vid from the guys at NYCMTB lays out how they built mountain bike trails in Manhattan, NY at Highbridge park. With a mix of XC trails and a FR park with DJ’s…the Highbridge Park mountain bike trails have a little bit of everything.
After watching this video, you can see how they left the east coast tech in the trail and the massive hurdles they had to cross to get something like this completed in the most densely populated city in the country. It really is a testament to what can be done for the mountain biking community if you put your mind to it.
Next time I am in NYC, I am going to have to hit this up…
