Mountain biking is coming back to the X Games for the first time since 2013. As part of their “Real Series” that will be broadcasting on ESPN2 on Monday, May 19th…X Games invited a epic list of accomplished riders to submit their best 90 second video clips for X Games medals.

- DJ Brandt
On a personal note…it is awesome to see mountain biking back on broadcast TV again. My son and I are looking forward to watching some of our favorite riders on ESPN. The Real Series layout is pretty cool as well because the riders will really be able to showcase their personal riding styles. It won’t be some kind of snow downhill gimmick that doesn’t really relate to the sport.
The videos will be released on YouTube then followed by a one hour episode on ESPN 2 as part of their X Games series coverage.
X Games Real MTB 2021 videos drop at here and on the X Games YouTube channel on April 19. Invited athletes include DJ Brandt, Danny MacAskill, Veronique Sandler, Brandon Semenuk, Brage Vestavik and Cam Zink, all debuting new 90-second edits of footage.
