So I was sitting there starring at my Twitter account (MTBby198) when the question came into my head…
Here are some of the responses that I have received so far…
ITGuy @MTBby198 Unless I’m riding with friends I generally avoid riding in sub-freezing temps.
crujones @MTBby198 I do. HellTrack is fun when the Cliffhanger gets a little frost on it. =D
cjeight @MTBby198 Okla below freezing tends to b brutal.
cmadrigal @MTBby198 I do, although not too far below freezing…
chwilliams @MTBby198 if it’s below freezing I’m usually on a snowboard, that or fishing for steelhead
Thelonius71 @MTBby198 the temp doesn’t really sway me either way I’ll ride whenever I get a chance. If I had Millhouse’s free time I might be more picky
probikewrench @MTBby198 On the road, only to 25F. From past experience, ice in beards (and on roads), and slurring speech below that mark.
sdreiske @MTBby198 I have only ridden below freezing a few times before. I might end up doing some super cold night rides this winter.
chaddb @MTBby198 I’m currently gearing up for my first season of night and/or cold weather riding
athletetraining @mtbby198 if it drops to freezing I’ll try riding it. First winter riding so will be interesting
pingram3541 @MTBby198 I suppose I’d give it a go. Have hiked & climbed at below 0 temps but not biked. At what temp do you start q’ing the bike?
milliron @MTBby198 Mountain bike below freezing, frequently. Road, no not likely.
