Cyclocross racing has taken the US by storm over the past couple of years. Somehow, someone thought racing in the offseason in sub freezing temperatures with mud and snow would be a good idea. For those of us that watch from the sidelines…we would have to agree. To those that race in the series, you guys are insane and it is awesome.
Friend of Bike198 and pro coach Brian Baker sent us over this clip from the 2013 National Championships. It is the first lap of the Elite Mens. I got cold just watching it…no one can argue the amount of bike handling skills it takes to navigate skinny tires on this course in these conditions.
