Who said the winter has to stop dirt jump competitions? This sequence from “White Style” is pretty cool to watch as dirt jumpers make the best of winter conditions in FMB World Tour 2013’s first stop in Europe.
White Style has always been a crazy event, but poor weather conditions this year meant you had to be even madder to get on the snow on two wheels.
“As long as you keep your line, you’ll be fine,” said Martin Söderström. “Otherwise… you’re not going to be fine.” These words turned out to be prophetic as Martin later had a fall that gave him a serious headache and a trip to hospital.
I founded Bike198 back in 2008 and started riding bikes seriously in 1994. A lot has changed since that time and one of the greatest releases is still getting out on the bike and shredding trail or tearing up the road.
