Pictures and Video
Pictures and video really add a lot to a site’s content…especially one that can be as visual as mountain biking. To improve this site’s performance in that area, I have made some investments that you will see the changes from this week.

GoPro 5mp Wide Angle Cameras
We struck up a deal with Hero to feature their GoPro cameras for all of the video on MTB by 198. Once those arrive, there will be a ton of video footage including helmet and bike mounted shots.
Contests/Giveaways
The Clix QR Giveaway went so well that there will be a HUGE giveaway in the next couple of weeks. And when I say HUGE…I mean HUGE!
Remember…if you sign up for the MTB by 198 newsletter…you are automatically entered in all MTB by 198 giveaways. Just in case you don’t want to be entered but still want the newsletter…I will send out a “preview” email of the contest where you can be request not to be entered.

Newsletter Features
Until now…the MTB by 198 newsletter only gave you entry into the giveaways and on every 10th post you were sent a summary of what has been going on at MTB by 198. Traffic
You may have noticed…but MTB by 198 is growing rapidily. With well over 400 subscribers and over 20,000 visitors in the past 30 days, I am really looking forward to the next couple of months. With the combination of reviews, articles and giveaways…we should see a sharp traffic increase very soon.
