First, thank you for all of the emails, suggestions and feedback. The response I received over the past week has been nothing short of amazing. I took in all of the suggestions and edits to create the final version of Ramped Riding 1.0. Within the pages of the new 138 page ebook, you will find new pictures content and organization that makes this ebook the ultimate source to improve your mountain biking and enjoy the stoke just that much more.

A special HUGE thanks goes out to Don Bolt of Fuelmoon Design for the incredible cover design and Keith Pytlinski for letting me use a lot of his professional images to compliment the content (m5photophraphy).

When I set out to publish Ramped Riding, there were two factors at play here.

  1. I wanted to help other riders get better at mountain biking. One of the biggest enjoyments of this site has been the feedback I have received from other mountain bikers when something they read on this site improved their trail experience. I am a firm believer in continuing to improve my abilities, so this has been incredibly rewarding. Now, Ramped Riding is live and able to bring that resource to a whole new level.
  2. I wanted to help the readers (and purchasers of Ramped Riding) during these harder economic times. When you promote Ramped Riding by signing up for the affiliate program, you will receive 50% of every sale you refer. That’s right…I am going to give away half the revenue for your help. I know as well as anyone…that this site is absolutely nothing without its readers, so I want to bring you in on the action so we can help other mountain bikers achieve their goals and put a little bit of side income in our pockets at the same time during a period when we could all use it. This ebook has been a lot of work to put together, but it has been an very rewarding experience. I received a lot of requests for other topics (maintenance, photography, etc.), so be on the lookout over the next year for more in the Ramped series.
